Former OFW Becomes Entrepreneur with DILP Kabuhayan Starter Kits

After working seven years as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Qatar, Lourdes Soledad Bas Gados from Ems Barrio, Legaspi City, Albay found herself at a loss as to where to find a new means of livelihood. The money both she and her husband Allen Gados have earned through working overseas all went to hospital bills, as misfortune after misfortune struck, when her mother in law was diagnosed with cancer and her father became bedridden for almost a year. Moreover, they also have to find the means to sustain the schooling of their 10–year old son.
