Labor Secretary salutes workers in the informal economy
“Nais kong ipabatid sa inyo ang aking pagsaludo sa bawat manggagawa na nasa impormal na sektor. Sa bawat sakripisyo na inyong binibigay para sa inyong pamilya at sa bayan, nararapat lamang na magkaroon ng pag-angat ang antas ng inyong pamumuhay”.
Those are the words uttered by the DOLE Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III during the conduct of the 7th Workers in the Informal Economy Labor Day Celebration on May 4, 2018 in Cebu City.

Manila —— The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) kicked off the National Women’s Month Celebration during their flag raising ceremony on March 5, 2018 at the Labor Governance Learning Center. With the Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns being the host, the flag raising ceremony was filled with presentations in honor of Filipino women, especially women workers.
