The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office X promotes a child labor-free Philippines through its continuous effort under the Department’s Child Labor Prevention and Elimination Program (CLPEP) spearheaded by the Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns (BWSC).
BWSC joins the nation in celebrating women’s month
The Bureau of Workers with Special Concerns (BWSC), as a forerunner in advocating women’s rights, celebrates women’s month with the global theme, “Generation Equality: Realizing women’s rights for equal future.” Likewise, the Bureau, as the host of the flag raising ceremony on March 2, 2020, kicked off the celebration by presenting a video of the various programs of the Bureau, which has significantly enforced the rights of women especially the vulnerable and disadvantaged group.

The Philippine Program Against Child Labor (PPACL) is a convergence effort of various government agencies, workers and employers groups, civil society organizations and international social development associations towards the prevention and elimination of child labor.
